In the early morning hours of December 15th Box 0971 was sounded for a house on fire in West Newark. Engine 3 and Ladder 12 were due on the assignment. Engine 6 responded as well to make up for staffing. Ladder 12 and Engine 3 arrived and operated in a defensive posture. Initial units transported one person that was critically injured. Christiana units operated for 3 hours.
