On January 27th Box 2701 was sounded for a house on fire in the Parkside development in Middletown. Engine and Tower 27 arrived to find a home on fire and extending to the house next door. Command sounded a second alarm. Engine 6 was the first engine on the second alarm. Engine 12 responded as the staffed Christiana Engine.  The company arrived and assisted with overhaul and extinguishment. Engine 6 and 12 opearted for two hours.
