Training Roof Ops - Odessa
March 28, 2012
On Wednesday one crew staffed station 12 all day taking in a few MVC's and a trash fire. At 1845 crews started down to Odessa station 24 to training on the roof of station 24. Station 24 is going to be torn down to rebuild a new station. On the way to the training a box alarm was transmitted for a gas grill on fire with extension to a house. Engine 36 arrived 1st to find minor extension to the home and the assignment was scaled back to 1-1. Units cleared the fire and reported to station 24 for 3 hours. We were able to make multiple cuts. Thank you OFD and Chief Brown !!! We had a great time.
