Two days, two fires. - Delaware City, Chesapeake City

On February 27th Engine 6 was alerted to a house on fire on box 1520 the address was Kirkwood Saint Georges Rd. Chief One Five arrived with smoke showing from the B side. Engine 6 arrived and provided the backup line thru the front door. Rescue /Engine 12 arrived and operated as a rescue squad providing the primary search. Units got a quick knock on the fire and searches proved negative. Units operated for 45 minutes before being released by command.
On February 28th Engine 6 was alerted as part of the 3rd alarm for a private dwelling fire on Biddle Ave in Chesapeake City Maryland. Engine 6 and Engine 12 and the 12th Battalion marked up on Tac 5 to Cecil county with 10 Firefighters. Both units arrived and report to command. Engine 6's crew assisted with defensive operations with a hand line while Engine 12 operated in exposure B. Units remained on the scene for 30 minutes.
