On July 2nd at 1918 hrs E12,E32 (Wilmington Manor Fire Co) E18 Goodwill of New Castle, L28(Wilmington Manor Fire Co.) were alerted to Carriage Run for a gas grill on fire with extension to a private dwelling. E12 arrived and secured a water supply and stretched a attack line into the home. The fire had control of the attic. The 1st alarm companies made quick work of the fire and the searches proved negative. There were no injuries. Crews remained on the scene for a hour and thirty minutes.
