On December 8th around lunch time Christiana Fire company was dispatched on the 1st alarm assignment to assist Delaware City on a chimney fire at a private dwelling. The first engine arrived from Delaware City to find a chimney fire that extended to the house. Engine 6 and Engine 12 arrived and were put to work checking for extension and overhauling the fire area. Crews remained on the scene for 1 hour and 30 minutes. There were no injuries.
