Working Dwelling Fire - Coventry

On June 24th at 10:57 AM the Christiana Fire Company, Engine 32, Ladder 28 (Wilmington Manor Fire Company) and Engine 23 (Minquas Fire Company) were dispatched to the Coventry development off of Airport Road for an attic fire. BLS unit B-6 arrived and reported smoke coming from a split level private dwelling. Deputy 6 arrived and assumed command. Engine 324, Engine 235 and Squad 36 arrived and conducted interior operations. The fire was quickly extinguished and the dwelling was searched with negative results. Rescue 18 (Goodwill Fire Company) alerted as the RIT (rapid intervention team), arrived and supported the interior units. The incident was placed under control and units cleared in about one hour. There were no injuries. Deputy Chief 6 Rich Perillo had command.
