June 18, 2010 – At 1:32 PM the Christiana Fire Company (Stations 3, 6, & 12) along with the Minquas Fire Company (Station 23) were dispatched to I-95 northbound, north of Churchman’s Road for a motor vehicle crash (MVC) with a rollover. B-12 arrived and confirmed an MVC with a rollover and heavy entrapment. The crews from 12-6 and Rescue 23 worked to stabilize the vehicle with rescue struts and cribbing. The crews then used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the driver. Assisting at the scene were the New Castle County Medics, Christiana Fire Police and Engine 285.
