Three Extrications and a Fire - Newark

On May 25th CFC was dispatched to Christiana bypass at Route 1 North bound for a MVC with rollover. Engine 126, Ambulance 6 and Ambulance 12 arrived to find a car that struck a a light pole. One person was trapped in the car. Engine 126 used the rescue tools to extricate the person from the car. The patient was transported to CER by Ambulance 12 and Medic 2C
On May 26th at rush hour CFC, Medic 2A and half of Medic 7A were alerted to Route 1 North bound at Christiana Meadows Apts. for a MVC with rollover. Ambulance 12,3 and Engine 126 all arrived at the same time to find two serious injuries and one person trapped in the car. The person was extricated. Both patients were transported to CER with ALS. Engine 126 cleared in 20 minutes.
On May 29th at 2317 hours CFC was alerted to a Bravo MVC at Pulaski Hwy and Bear Christiana Rd in Bear. Engine 126 and Ambulance 12 arrived to find one person trapped in the car. The patient was extricated and the injuries were no life threatening. Ambulance 12 transported to CER. Engine 126 and Engine 34 cleared in about 20 minutes.
On May 29th around 730PM CFC, Engine 23 (Minquas),Engine 9(Aetna), Ladder 15(DE city) were alerted to the Gray Acres development for a residential fire.
Engine 126 arrived laid a supply line and found smoke pushing from the front door. The crew quickly stretched a attack line and confined the fire in the basement.
Ladder 15 and Engine 23 arrived next and took there predestinated assignments. The home was searched and ventilated. The fire was quickly under control and the assignment was scaled back. There were no injuries. Christiana units cleared in about a hour and a half. Firefighter Jones had the Gray Acres command.
