On Sunday the 3rd of January Christiana Fire Company (Stations 3, 6 & 12), Delaware City Fire Company (Station 15) and the Wilmington Manor Fire Company (Stations 28 & 32) were alerted to the Sparrow Run Townhouses for a townhouse on fire. Engine 126 arrived and established a water supply and stretched an attack line. Crews found a fire on the second floor. Rescue Engine 3 arrived and performed the outside duties along with a search of the townhouse. The fire was quickly brought under control and units cleared in about an hour. No injuries were reported.
