Christiana and automatic aid companies were alerted to Fire Box 1233 yesterday afternoon for an apartment fire. Engine 6 arrived first due reporting a 3 story brick apartment building with smoke showing from the third floor. A fire was located in the ceiling of a 2nd floor apartment and the floor of a 3rd floor apartment.

Engine 6 is currently operating our 1988 Pierce Arrow reserve engine. Engine 12 is currently operating in our 2019 Pierce that is marked as Engine 6 while the newer Seagrave is receiving preventative maintenance, as well as maintaining a rotation to manage the mileage our engines are at.
