Public Safety Announcement: If you are traveling and happen to see a fire apparatus or any other emergency vehicle blocking a roadway then please know that we aren’t suggesting the road be blocked, giving you the option to drive on the sidewalk. It is in fact blocked, and no one is to enter the scene. Our people and other first responders operate within the confines of the lanes blocked by our apparatus. If you wouldn’t drive on the sidewalk on a normal day then please don’t do it if you see our crews blocking portions of the roadway. #ChristianaFire
