On July 3rd Engine and Tower 12 were clearing a drowning call where CPR was performed when box 2840 was sounded for a fire in a motel. Rescue Engine 28 arrived to find a fire in the attic of a motel. Tower 12 arrived as the first special service. All searches were negative. The fire was controlled with one hose line. Units operated for 40 minutes.
