On Sept 18th as Engine 12 was going in quarters Box 0980 was transmitted for a house on fire in Brookside Park in Newark. Engine 12 and Ladder 12 responded. Engine 9 and Ladder 9 arrived to find fire showing from a one story home. Crews quickly got attack lines stretched and got water on the fire. Units operated for one hour and thirty minutes. There were no injuries.
