At 0830 hrs on the 22nd of November, Christiana Fire and mutual aide companies were dispatched for a apartment fire in the Cheswold blvd section of Christiana. Engine and Ladder 12 arrived to find nothing showing but as always laid a supply line and pulled a attack line. Upon entering the building crews were met with a smoke condition in the hallway and quickly located a ground floor apartment on fire. Deputy Chief 12 arrived, assumed command and was advised by bystanders of a subject trapped in one of the apartments. Searches were completed by Ladders 12 & 9 who assisted several subjects outside.
