On August 28^th, Ambulance 12, Ambulance 6, Engine 6, Engine 12, Medic 6B, Plt. 3 ALS shift commander (ALS 18) and Deputy Chief 12 were alerted to an accident with an overturned car on Route 1 near the Red Lion Rd exit. Units arrived to find one person trapped in a pick-up truck and three total patients. After extrication, all patients were transported to Christiana trauma center. Units operated for 30 minutes
