On August 21st Box 3400 was sounded for a fire at the Delaware City Refinery (PBF Energy). Engine 12 was clearing a fire alarm and responded. L12 also responded. Engine 12 arrived and assisted Delaware City FD with master stream operations. Ladder 12 stood by. A compressor malfunction caused the fire in the factory’s catalytic cracking unit. Responding emergency units operated for three hours.
