Apartment fire with people trapped - Harbor Club Apts

On February 4th at 0144 hrs a box alarm was sounded for the Harbor Club Apts with a report of people trapped. As units were responding the 911 center reported the County Police were on scene with a working fire. Command 12 and Engine 3 arrived with smoke showing from side A and fire showing from side C. Enigne 3 secured a water supply and stretched an attack line thru the front door. Rescue/Engine 12 arrived and took the 1st special service assignment. The crew split into the inside and outside team. Engine 3 found a fire in a ground level apartment and got the fire knocked down. One resident was rescued via ground ladder from the 2nd floor. Another resident self extricated and was tarsnported via A28 and M3 to Christiana Trauma center as a trauma alert. Remaining searches proved negative. Companies worked for 40 minutes to bring the fire under control. Units remained on the scene for 3 hours wetting down hot spots.
