Ken McMahon Named Chief Emeritus - Christiana Memorial Hall

On February 19, 2011, the Members and Officers of the Christiana Fire Company named Ken McMahon Chief Emeritus of Christiana Fire Company at the 90th Annual Company Banquet.
Chief McMahon joined Christiana Fire Company in 1973. He has served as Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief and Chief, as well as on the Board of Directors. He is a past President of the New Castle County Fire Chiefs Association. He served on the NFPA 1720 Committee and has been a contributor to several books on pipeline safety.
Chief McMahon most recently retired after serving 12 years on the Delaware State Fire Prevention Commission, serving as a Commissioner, Vice Chairman and Chairman. Ken was presented with a plaque and Chief Emeritus helmet by Chief Emeritus Jim McCall and Chief Brian Reeder.
