Small fire in Amberfield - Amberfield Townhouses

On January 12th at about 6PM Christiana Fire Company, Delaware City and Wilmington Manor were alerted for a townhouse fire in the Amberfield Townhouses. Several members were at the station. The Engine, Ladder and Duty Chief quickly responded. Units arrived with a smoke showing from the front door. The Engine established a water supply and quickly deployed an attack line. The Ladder crew searched and ventilated. Crews found a small fire and the assignment was scaled back to Engine 126 and Ladder 12. There were no injuries and crews stooby for about 45 minutes to clear smoke and remove burnt items. Assistant Chief Lutz (Duty Chief) had command.
