Last night two of our very own received the State of Delaware’s Heroic Firefighter of the year award for their actions in 2024 at separate incidents.
 

Captain Jonathon Sexton removed an elderly couple from a 2nd alarm fire at the West Motel.

Career Firefighter Nick Cripps ( While volunteering with the Claymont Fire Company) and crew removed several occupants from a townhouse fire in the Valley Run section.
