On Monday November 27th, 2017 at 08:57 Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Collision with one patient in Cardiac Arrest on sunset lake Rd in Newark, DE. Less than a minute after dispatch Engine, and Ladder 12 went responding. While enroute Engine 12 was informed that police were on scene reporting that the patient is conscious, alert, and trapped. Squad 9 from Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder was immediately added on to the assignment. Deputy 6 also added on to the assignment to assume Christiana Command. Units operated for about 30 minutes, and 3 patients were transported to Christiana Emergency Room with one trauma alert.
