Box 1234 was struck for an apartment on fire at Valley Stream Village. Engine12, Ladder6(-12),Squad 12, & Deputy 12 were on the street and on scene within 5 minutes with 15 FFs. Crews found smoke showing and OV reported fire on the third floor balcony. Crews deployed a 300' line and the 300' back up line and held the fire to the deck while checking for extention in the attic. Command held it to 2 &1 as units got back into service.
