Shortly before 3am on August 1st Christiana Fire and mutual aide companies were dispatched for a townhouse fire in the Village of Christiana. Engine and Ladder 12 arrived quickly to find smoke coming from both floors of a middle of the row townhouse. The Engine crew made a quick knock of a fire on the 1st floor while the Ladder crew searched all floors with negative results. Engine 6 arrived as 2nd Engine and stood by with a back up line while Engine 23 was assigned R.I.T. The scene was scaled back to E12, E6, Ladder 12. Deputy Chief 12 had the command.
