On March 19th Engine 12 responded to a fire alarm at Highland Blvd in Wilton. As the Engine arrived the call was upgraded to smoke in the building. Engine 12 established a water supply and stretched an attack line. The company found smoke to the floor in a second floor apartment. As Ladder 12,Ladder 28 and Engine 18 arrived the crew of the Engine searched for the fire. The crew located a small fire in the apartment and extinguished the fire. The Ladder companies completed the searches and laddered the building. Units operated for 1 hour.
On March 23rd Box 1213 was transmitted for a Townhouse on fire in Christiana Village. Engine 12,Ladder 12 and Deputy Chief 6 arrived with fire showing from a 2nd floor window. The Engine had a hydrant on the corner. The crew got a line stretched and the Ladder crew went to the 2nd floor to search. The Engine quickly got water on the fire and all searches were negative. There was extension to the townhouse next to the fire building. Units worked quickly to control the extension and extinguish the fire. Units operated for 2 hours. There were no injuries.
