On July 14th Engine 12 was alerted to a private dwelling fire on East Park Place in Newark. Ambulance 8 arrived and reported a working fire. Ladder 12 was alerted to the run with the upgrade. Engine 12 arrived and was detailed to horizontal ventilation. Crews completed that task and then were detailed to assist with overhaul. The Engine operated for two hours before being released by command.
