House Fire - MVC - Bear

On May 27th Box 0180 was sounded for the exterior of house on fire in the Brennan Estates development off Summit Bridge Rd. A firefighter arrived before apparatus and found fire showing. The assignment was upgraded adding Engine 6 and Ladder 15 as the extra engine and truck and Engine 12 as RIT. Engine 6 arrived and was put to work checking for extension. Engine 12 arrived and stood by as part of the RIT group. CFC units operated for 45 minutes before being released by command. On May 27th Christiana Fire Company was alerted to a MVC on Christiana Road and Chapman Road. EMS arrived and reported on confined. Engine 3 and Engine 12 arrived and removed the driver’s door. The patient was taken to Christiana Hospital for evaluation. Units cleared in 30 minutes. On May 29th Christiana fire company was alerted to a MVC with people trapped. The addresses of the incident was South College Ave and Old Cooches Bridge Rd. The initial report was 5 injuries. Two additional BLS units were added to the run as well as two ALS units and the ALS supervisor. Chief 3B arrived to find four injuries and one door pop. The assignment was scaled back. Engine 6 and 12 arrived and removed one door. All four patients were taken to Christiana Trauma center for evaluation.
