MVC - Trapped, Garage Fire - Bear

On Thursday the 12th Fire Police officer 99 came upon a serious MVC on the south side of the summit bridge. As reports of the vehicles on fire,multiple injuries and people trapped were received Engine 6 and Squad 12 were added to the response. Squad 12 was clearing a MVC when they were alerted to this run. Squad 12 arrived and perform a side wall removal and assisted with patient care. Engine 1,Rescue 27,Engine 10 also assisted in these duties. Christiana cleared the run in 30 minutes. Deputy Chief Watts had command. In all 5 patients were taken to Christiana trauma center.

On Friday evening the 13th a reduce box was sounded for a garage on fire at the Glasgow Court Trailer park for box 1233.  Engine 124 and Squad 12 were out the door in 30 seconds as well as E32 who was the East side duty crew.  Command 3 arrived to find a well involved large shed. The fire was quickly extinguished. Engine 6 and Brush 6 arrived and supported operations. Units operated for 30 minutes. E32 was assigned a fire alarm in Engine 6's local ( Forest Glen) when they cleared the scene. Engine 12 responded to box 2860 for a fire in the New Castle Farmers market while they were returning from Glasgow pines. The fire was not of significance and E12 returned to station after standing by at the hydrant.
