Truck fire and small house fire - Bear

On Saturday January 14th Christiana Fire Company with Engine and Ladder 15 and Engine 10 were alerted to a Chimney fire in Fox run townhouses. Engine 6 arrived with nothing showing. E6 secured a hydrant in front of the home and stretched an attack line thru the front door. Engine 3 and Ladder 12 were next to arrived and investigated a chimney on fire. Crews remained in service for 40 minutes.

The Christiana Fire company would like to thank Joppa Magnolia MD Fire Department for the use of Ladder 831 while or Seagrave Ladder is out for repairs.

 

On Sunday the 15th Engine 12 was clearing a fire alarm when they were alerted to route 1 south Bound at Christiana Bypass for a truck on fire. The crew arrived and ran the bumper line to extinguish a dump truck that was on fire. The Engine cleared in 15 minutes.
