On January 12th a box alarm was transmitted for smoke on the 2nd floor at the Allendale Apts off Ogletown Rd. The assignment consisted of Christiana Fire Company, Engine 8,21, Ladder 9, Rescue 23. Engine 126 and 124 arrived in 6 minutes to find smoke on all floors. An attack line was deployed to the 2nd floor. 124's OV was completing his assignment of checking the rear of the building and basement and found a fire in a ground floor apartment. The attack line was then redeployed to the first floor. The fire was quickly extinguished and searches proved negative. Units remained on the scene for 1 hour. There were no injuries.
On January 12th at 2228 Christiana Fire Company was dispatched to Ogletown Rd at Prides Court Apartments for a Vehicle crash with people trapped. A15 and M6D arrived first and advised a door pop was needed. Engine 12 arrived and completed that task. The patient was transported to Christiana Trauma center. Units cleared in 20 minutes.
