On 12/06/11 a Box alarm was sounded for a fire from the rear of a private dwelling in Caravel Hunt off Red Lion Rd in Bear. The assignment consisted of Christiana Fire Company, E15,E10,E1,E4,E32,L15,TW27 and the 12th Battalion. Ladder 15,Engine 124 and Engine 66 arrived at the same time with a two story private dwelling with smoke showing. The crews secured a water supply and stretched an attack line and a backup line to the 2nd floor. The fire was found on the first floor and quickly extinguished. Searches proved negative and the assignment was scaled back. Delaware State fire marshals office is investigating the cause. Captain Nguyen had command. There were no injuries. Units cleared in two hours.
