Two Fires and a Pin Job - Christiana

On Sat November 12th Christiana Fire Company was alerted to a MVC at Summit Bridge Rd and Pulaski Hwy. Engine 3, Engine 12 and Engine 10 arrived to find one trapped. The patient was extricated and taken to the Christina trauma center. Units cleared in one hour. On Sunday November 13th Christiana Fire Company, Engine 23, Engine 9 and Ladder 28 were alerted to a private dwelling fire at 18 S Old Baltimore Pike in Downtown Christiana. Engine 12,Ladder 12 and the Battalion Chief arrived in two minutes to find smoke showing. Water supply was secured and an attack line was stretched. The Ladder crew searched and ventilated the home. Searches were negative and the fire was extinguished. Units cleared in 45 minutes. Six hours later Ladder 12 was alerted to a private dwelling fire with one trapped on box 3210 for the 100 block of South Dupont Highway. Ladder 12 arrived after Engine 28 and operated as the 1st Special service. The fire was located in one multiple dwelling and one commercial store. The truck crew laddered,searched,forced entry and vented. The crew operated for two hours.
