Thursday night Christiana was dispatched for a Engine to assist Aetna Hose on a possible apartment fire. Engine 126 responded with 6 members and while enroute Deputy Chief 8(NFD) advised he had smoke showing and requested a working fire dispatch. Engine 126 arrived on scene and secured their own hydrant and deployed a handline finding a fire in the basement storage area. Crew also searched the structure and assisted NFD with checking for extension and ventilation. Crew operated for approx one hour.
