Engine12, Engine 6, Ladder 12, & Deputy 12 responded to assist Newark FD on a house fire in the 0980 grid. Engine 12 and Engine 6 arrived as first and second engines as Quint 10 took 1st special service. L12 arrived as 2nd special service and assisted with searches, opening up and vertical ventilation. Deputy 12 led crews on the interior as Deputy 10 had the Newark Command. County mutual aid units arrived and assisted as well. There were no injuries, and one dog was rescued from the residence.
