Last night Engine 6, Tower 12 and Engine 12 responded for box 1233. Engine 6 arrived with smoke showing and located a second floor bedroom fire. Tower 12 completed the primary search which yielded negative results. Engine 12 was second due engine and stretched a back up line. Chief 12-8 had the Christiana Command. Oddly enough, the end of the row townhouse two doors down to the left had a basement fire in May, 2017. During the 2017 fire Engine 12’s Officer rescued a juvenile overcome by smoke and in respiratory arrest from a second floor bedroom with the assistance from Ladder 12’s inside team.
