Christiana Fire operates a fully functional engineering division to maintain our fleet.

We employ a full time mechanic and have an Assistant Chief who oversees the fleets operational readiness. The Assistant Chief also assists our full time mechanic with maintenance and repair work.

They work hard to maintain 4 engines, 3 aerials, 9 ambulances, 6 command Tahoes, 2 administrative vehicles and 1 utility vehicle.
