House Fire

Thursday, November 5, 2020

Yesterday evening the Christiana Fire Company was alerted for a “house on fire” in the Village of Christiana. Engine 12 and Tower 12 immediately responded from Station 12 and were on scene in about thirty seconds reporting fire showing from a two story end of the row front facing apartment home. The fire was located on the first floor. Tower 12 immediately began searches and Engine 12 had the fire knocked down very quickly, and had their own hydrant out front. All searches were negative and the fire was knocked down without extension from the original fire apartment. This incident brought a first alarm box assignment (4 engines, 2 trucks and a rescue). Battalion 12 had the “Christiana Command”. #ChristianaFire @ Christiana, Delaware
