Last Sunday June 15th Christiana was alerted to 7 box alarms with one being a working fire.
At 1312 Hrs box 1212 was sounded for a gas station on fire on Harmony Rd. The report was a car on fire that was under the overhang of the gas station. Engine 12 arrived to find a car on fire with no extension to the building. The fire was extinguished. Engine 12 cleared in 30 minutes.
Around 10pm Box 0900 was sounded for a house on fire on Frazier Rd. Engine 12 was on the initial alarm and Ladder 12 was alerted on the working fire dispatch. Chief 98 arrived to find fire showing. Engine 9 arrived and got water on the fire while Engine 12 completed the supply line stretch. Units operated for 2 hours controlling the fire. There were no injuries. The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
