On August 19th,20th and 21st Six members of Christiana Fire Company traveled to Indianapolis IN to the Fire Department Training Network. This training facility and the staff are phenomenal. The crew took Truck operations one. All members worked in 90 degree heat with full protective clothing for three days. There were many skill stations as well as many live fire training sessions. FD training network web site: http://www.firescue.com/index.html On August 22nd Ladder 12 responded to Wilmington Station one for a Ladder company cover. The Wilmington Fire department was operating at a 2 alarm fire on West 4th Street. The Ladder responded to three runs while covering. Christiana had a car fire and residential lighting strike in the district while the Ladder was in Wilmington.
