On Aug 12th at 0458 ladder 12 was alerted to cover Ladder 13. Claymont was operating at a 2 alarm fire. The Ladder covered till 0730. Then Engine 16 and Ladder 12 were called into the scene. Ladder 12 operated till 0930 assisting with overhaul. On August 17th at 1452 Box 1234 was sounded for a house fire on Canoe Club Rd. Engine 12 and Deputy Chief 12 responded. Both units arrived to find smoke showing. An attack line was stretched and searches were conducted by the Truck company. The fire was contained to the basement. The fire was quickly contained and there were no injures. Units operated for one hour.
