On June 22nd Christiana Fire Company and The Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company traveled to Salem County NJ Fire Academy to conduct live fire training. The scenario for the day was a commercial building fire and a residence above the commercial property. Skills included cutting the roll down gate, stretching an attack line to the first floor, Forcing a inward opening door, searching, going to the roof and forcing a outward opening door, giving a radio report of the rear conditions, and opening the roof. 32 Firefighters participated in the drill. Thanks to Director Pierce for allow us to use the training grounds.
