FDIC and Recent Runs - Bear

Many members spent the week at FDIC. The members enjoyed taking classes and speaking with vendors. Back in Christiana the crews had a steady week with a vehicle crash with one trapped on Pulaski hwy and Walther Rd. Rescue /Engine 12 arrived and removed a door. The patient was taken to Christiana Trauma center. Just before leaving for FDIC a box alarm was transmitted for the rear of a house on fire in Eagle Glen. The Engine and Ladder arrived to find the rear siding smoking with some extension to the attic. Units worked for 45 minutes. On Friday April 26 a University of Delaware box was transmitted. Engine 9 and Ladder 9 arrived to find smoking roofing materials on the third floor. Engine 12 assisted with overhaul. Units cleared in 45 minutes. On April 29th a rescue assignment was dispatched for a child stuck in a tree. Ladder 12 arrived and removed the child. The remainder of the assignment was cleared. On May 2nd a vehicle crash trapped was alerted on Stanton Ogletown Rd. Engine 12 was clearing another crash on I95 and responded along with Rescue 23. Units arrived to find one person confined. The door was removed and the patient was taken to Christiana Trauma center.
