April has kept Christiana Firefighters busy running many box alarms and many other calls. On April 1st Units responded to the Barrett Run Townhouses for an electrical fire. The Engine and Ladder arrived to nothing evident. Crews investigated a electrical problem and cleared the scene. On April 1nd a box alarm was transmitted for the Village of Windover on Bear. The Engine and Ladder arrived to find a small cooking fire. The apartment was cleared of smoke and the assignment cleared. On April 3rd two crews were out doing a building review when box 1216 was transmitted for a roof on fire in Saddlebrook. Engine 126,Engine 124 and Ladder 12 arrived at the dispatched address to find nothing evident. There was a outside fire that was extinguished. Units cleared. On April 4th station 12 retained two crews all day. The crews responded to a mulch fire, fire alarms, vehicle crashes and box alarms. Crews responded to a two alarm fire in the afternoon.
