On February 2nd Christiana Fire Company hosted a class given by Mike Lombardo and Tim Klett. Mike severed in Ladder Company's and Rescue Company in Buffalo NY. Mike rose thru the ranks and served as a Battalion Chief as well as the Chief of Department. Tim is currently a Lieutenant at Engine 88 in the Bronx. Mike spoke in the morning session on Red Flags on the fireground. In the afternoon Tim presented Engine company operations. Both topics were fantastic. The event was well attended with over 160 Firefighters from Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. A big thank you to Bertucci's restaurant for donating lunch, Traditions Training LLC for donating Breakfast, Trin Tac LLC for a fantastic door prize and to Tim and Mike for their time and effort. This event was a fund raiser for our new station 12 building project. Keep an eye on our web site for similar events in the future !
