On November 25th Engine 12 was operating at a field fire on Sunset Lake Rd when a box alarm was sounded for a house on fire in Harmony Woods. Engine 12 quickly cleared the field fire and responded to the Box. Engine 12 called Engine 23 to advise them they would be 1st arriving as Engine 12 was out of position. Engine 23 arrived with their own hydrant and found smoke coming from side C of the home. Ladder 9 was next to arrive and assumed first special service. The crew searched the home and located the fire while Engine 23 got a line stretched. Engine 12 arrived as the second engine and secured a secondary water supply. Crews found a dryer on fire with minor extension to the floor and wall of a utility room. The assignment was reduced to 2-1. Units remained on the scene for 30 minutes.
