On June 20th at 0147 Engine 3 was alerted for a fire alarm on Brookmont Drive in Sparrow Run. Two minutes later a Box alarm was sounded for the same address for fire coming from the home. The assignment consisted of E3,E12,E32,E15 and Ladder 28 and the District commander. Engine 12 arrived and established a water supply. The officer reported a one story house with fire showing from the CD corner. The crew stretched an attack line. Rescue /Engine 3 arrived next and completed the side C report and the basement check along with the primary search. The fire was quickly controlled and searches proved negative. The 1st alarm assignment worked for 30 minutes checking for hot spots and overhauling. Units cleared in 1 hour.
