Today was another steady day. Runs started at 0053 with a AFA. At 0630 E12 responded to a truck on fire at the Christiana mall. The crew stretched a line and quickly knocked down the fire. Crews logged 5 runs from 0053 till 0900. At 1500 Claymont and area companies were alerted to a house fire. E132 arrived with fire showing from the second floor. Engine 12 and Command 12 were alerted to cover station 13s area. Engine 12-13, Ladder 17-13 and Command 12-13 ran a rescue assignment at city Steel on Philadelphia Pike. Engine 12 and the commander cleared Claymont at 1830.
Engine 3, Engine 6 both ran a few calls before evening training. Evening training consisted of review and deployed of the Carroll line. The company was back in quarters at 2200.
