The Christiana Fire Company was alerted to a vehicle accident reported with two injuries at 1932 hours. Squads 124 and 36 responded along with Command 12 (Lutz). Units arrived to find a two vehicle crash with one victim suffering a stroke while the other was trapped in the opposing vehicle. Crews worked on extrication and treating both victims. ALS was requested for assistance in treating the victims and Fire Police responded to assist with traffic control. The trapped victim was extricated and transported to CER with ALS care. The Stroke victim was also transported to CER with ALS care. BLS units from Station 15 assisted while all CFC BLS units were committed on prior incidents. The scene was controlled, FD units cleared and the scene was turned over to DSP.
