On August 2nd at 0838 Engine 3 and Rescue 12 were alert on automatic aid to Arkfield Ct in the Scottfield Section on Newark for a house on fire. Engine 82 (Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Co) arrived first with smoke showing. Engine 126 arrived and assisted Aetna with extinguishment and searches. Ambulance 3 responded for the working fire and provided the EMS standby. Christiana units remained on the scene for two hours. There were no injuries.
