Christiana Comes Home With Awards - Quarryville, PA

Thursday, July 2, 2015

On Saturday June 6th 2009, members from Stations 3 and 6 traveled to Lancaster County for their annual Fire Convention Parade which was held in the town of Quarryville. The participating membership arrived in Quarryville with Quint 6-7, Rescue-Engine 3-6 and the Deputy Chief Expedition early in the morning in order for final clean up and preparation of the apparatus. Due to a busy and very wet Friday night in Christiana, final clean up was quite a challenge. While in the line up, the crew met up with the Chief and membership of the Christiana Fire Company of Lancaster, PA. After judging, the membership shared breakfast and fellowship at the local town resturant before lining up for the arade. By the end of the day, after competing against some very good competition, the membership was proud to bring home a total of three trophies. 2nd best appearing Chiefs Buggy 2nd best appearing Aerial 3rd best appearing Rescue-Engine Photos by PumpFire.com, PhotoDog, Sean Byron
